Laugharne is a small town situated on the West Wales coast at the mouth of the River Tāf. Situated approximately four miles from St Clears and the A40 dual carriageway. Laugharne is an idyllic village with many famous connections, a lovely castle and scenery and a great location.

Laugharne Athletic Cricket Club came into being in April 1889. Laugharne Cricket Club celebrated their Centenary Year in 1989, where Laugharne played with some of the up and coming Glamorgan Cricketers of the time, who are today internationally known sportsmen today.

Laugharne Cricket Club is still going strong, and is a friendly welcoming club that has a well known presence in the local community. The club is always very friendly and welcomes to new players. Also welcome are people wishing to become members of the cricket club and potential sponsors. Further information is available on this site.

The Cricket Season in Laugharne runs between May and August and Laugharne Cricket Club are members of the Gwili-Tāf Midweek League. Games are played on Wednesday afternoons. Home matches are held at Laugharne's Cricket Ground (Wooford Park, Orchard Park, Laugharne)
